Heading home after a whirlwind book signing tour during Halloween week. \u00a0Visited Atqasuk first (see separate post) then Barrow’s Tuzzy Library, the Family Fun Night at Ipalook Elementary, and Alaska Commercial.<\/p>\n

Seeing former students and colleagues was so much fun! \u00a0That moment when you see a stranger but something in their adult face is familiar and your eyes meet and you see that person as a kid. \u00a0Eyes sparkle and hugs trump book sales! \u00a0I feel so lucky to have been able to renew friendships.
