Looking back over 2015 is a happy reflection for us. Grandchildren remained healthy and growing, Daughters and husbands are well. Teams won. Lambs were born, donkeys were bought and sold, and only one animal passed away (not counting chickens – rough year in the hen house). Friends were made and lost. One book was published and two are on the “drawing board”. We can ask no more than our good fortunes continuing. Best wishes for all who cross our paths to have a healthy, happy 2016!

Hi Becky! I am in a book club and we are all just finishing up reading “Drunk on Peace and Quiet” My sister, Connie McCoy, who lives in Barrow, Alaska bought 10 copies and mailed them to me in Arizona just for my book club to read! We meet on the 22nd of Feb. to have a discussion and I just can’t wait. What a book! My eyes almost literally popped out of my head when I read the ending. That Stella is something else! Can’t wait to read the next one. I haven’t looked for discussion questions yet. If you have any for us that would be great. Congrats on such a fun read!
Hello Cathy,
Connie has always been SO good to me…I taught on the North Slope for quite a few years and she always had a helping hand when I needed one. I am absolutely thrilled that you enjoyed my Stella. Connie had spoken to me about maybe calling the book club that night which I would love to do, but I can’t be sure, we may be playing basketball that night. (I coach middle school girls.) I don’t have any discussion questions yet, but will get busy on a few. Thank you for writing, I am just tickled to death…
