The evening air cools down quickly these days as the sun retreats below the mountains.  Brightly colored maple leaves carpet our yard and the football announcer can be heard as we drive through Peterstown on Saturday nights. Fall is here! I look forward to the whirl of fall events and book signings of Try and Be Somebody beginning with Heritage Day in Peterstown on Saturday, October 7.  After that, the Fall Festival at the Lindside United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 21, and a Wine and Cheese party at “Old Salt” on Sunday, November 12 are scheduled. Hope to see many friends and make some new ones at these festive occasions. Fall Colors on Peters Mountain, Monroe County, WV
